Cambashi has been tracking the market for engineering and technical software for over 40 years and providing leading industry training for over 25 years. We believe that this depth of experience, along with the expertise of our staff and the methods and processes we have developed, sets us apart from other firms.

As a result, the majority of leading BIM Design, Manufacturing and Engineering software providers rely on Cambashi data, and many of the world’s leading financial investment firms. This represents a level of trust demonstrated through our methods, close dialogue, and responsiveness to queries.

As AI continues to shape the market intelligence industry and new AI-focused companies emerge, we’re excited about how these tools can elevate our visuals and improve our ability to track the market. Instead of reading every press release, we can focus on the AI-highlighted changes that truly matter. And while AI can create visuals, draft charts, and prepare slides, our role is to deliver the reliable data and craft the narrative that turns information into strategy.

However, we feel it is important to clarify how we use AI as a company. First and foremost:

Cambashi sees AI as a tool to support our staff and allow them to work more efficiently. We do not believe AI can meet the high standards we set for ourselves without human oversight.

How We Use AI Responsibly

We are already using AI in various ways, including for machine translation, automating research, copy-editing, and developing interactive content, and we will continue to explore how AI can improve our internal processes. In short, AI supports the efficiency of Cambashi’s methods and processes. However, our analysts bring the value of relevance, human judgment, context, and nuance to client strategic decision-making.

But at this nascent stage, we have set ourselves a number of red lines on the usage of AI as a company:

Market Analysis

We do NOT use AI to write reports or market commentary. We use AI for its copy-editing features and foreign language translation, but we commit that all written content including reports and articles are written by our analysts and contributors.

Market Research

We do NOT rely on AI to conduct research. Our experience recognises the many nuances, subtleties, and exceptions when it comes to researching the market. We use AI to automate some aspects of research, but we commit that human oversight is essential to ensure that research is accurate and, importantly, interpreted correctly within its specific context.

Industry Training

We do NOT use AI to write our industry training courses. For industry training, our courses are written by humans for humans. We aim to provide professionals from all backgrounds with the key information needed to better understand the industries they serve in an accessible format. We use AI for copy editing and interactive content such as talking head videos.
